Sonoma County Fires
Friday Morning Update
Good Friday Morning, Healdsburg! A quick update: Healdsburg remains safe from the fires at the current time. If the situation changes, we will let you know here ASAP.
As you may have heard, firefighters are starting to make headway against fires such as the Pocket and Tubbs fires. Here is a screenshot from the Press Democrat’s homepage that updates the containment so far.

Thursday Morning Update
Good Thursday Morning, Healdsburg. A quick update on the fire situation: There is no change in status for the city. Healdsburg remains safe from fire at this time and the evacuation advisory (NOT mandatory) is still in effect. Light winds are coming from the north, with stronger gusts at higher elevations, but firefighters are beginning to contain some of the fires, including the Tubbs Fire and Pocket Fire.
We understand that some of you have voluntarily evacuated. Please know that we have all of our Healdsburg law enforcement officers on duty to protect the City and are looking after your homes as if they were their own.
Also, we understand that we not only have firefighters from across California, but from out of state and even from out of country. We are also getting a lot of air support, and you’ll see a lot of air traffic in the next few days as they battle the fires. So, a big thank you to our Healdsburg firefighters, all firefighters, and law enforcement fighting the good fight!
